Young Rocker

Here are some pictures of me and the band I played in many years ago. Ann brought them out and so I was so happy to be able to "prove" myself after the many years of stories about the band.

This is a fun picture because I wanted something with some of my grandkids and another piece of artwork by my son, Adrian. Jackson looks like he is really looking at the cool penguin. I mean, he really is. Barrett seems excited to see him, also.

Well, it's January 9th and tomorrow would have been my parents anniversary of 57 years. Ann and I will celebrate our anniversary on January 11th, 2009. It will be 35 years for us. Seems like we've never really not known each other. We are lucky enough to have both our granddaughters with us today and a sleepover tonight. The girls have a lot to do. I just sit around and let them hug me once in a while. I wanted to get an anniversary gift of Jade or Coral but Ann found a space heater she really wanted for the basement. so there you go. It's not Jade or Coral, but I could paint it.

It seems that all I am really interested in anymore is being around my grandkids. My children have been so good to me all these years, and they look out for each other. They've done a great job in picking their mates and furthering their careers. My wife is simply amazing, except when she doesn't agree with me. She's the glue of my family and keeps me going. I really enjoy seeing my kids and grandkids, even if it's just pictures. I love being a part of their learning each time something new is presented to them.
